Kunjungan ini dalam ranga memperingati Hari Peduli Sampah Nasional (HPSN) tahun 2025 dengan tema \u201cKolaborasi untuk Indonesia Bersih\u201d yang diperingati pada tanggal 21 Februari 2025. Peserta kunjungan sebanyak 147 orang terdiri atas 90 orang lower class (Kelas 1 s\/d 3), 43 orang upper class (Kelas 4 s\/d 6) dan 14 orang guru pendamping. Pak Iwan menjelaskan bahwa HPSN diperingati untuk mengenang peristiwa longsor yang terjadi 20 tahun yang lalu di TPA (Tempat Pemrosesan Akhir) Leuwigajah di Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat. Akibat longsoran ini, 2 Desa tertimbun sampah dan 157 orang tewas. \u201cTimbunan sampah ini menggunung dan akhirnya longsor. Materi yang diberikan yaitu pengertian Bank Sampah, Profil Bank Sampah MAPOLI, Tujuan dan Program BSM, serta pentingnya mengelola sampah dengan cara yang tepat. Setelah sesi tanya jawab, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan praktik pilah sampah. Setiap siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk memilah sampahnya masing-masing. Setelah praktik pemilahan, setiap kelompok ke Sekretariat Bank Sampah MAPOLI untuk menimbang dan mencatat berat sampahnya. Pendamping menjelaskan tentang mekanisme bank sampah di depan Sekretariat BSM. Setelah penimbangan selesai, peserta berkumpul di lapangan dan bersiap kembali ke sekolah.
